People harvest but are not harvested. Unless what he did was harvesting. Big uns do that. The two he took came back and I don't know if it was. I remember what Wolf said. He told me to run if I saw him. He used bigger words though. I know about Big uns and staying away from them.

It was quiet. Even the rats were quiet. It seemed many places were like the quiet dark but not as pretty. When the crier talked he said there was fighting. I didn't know where. I went to do my job and saw a bandit. I didn't know many who were awake. I told Pallas. He knows lots of people. He never said anything back. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

I went through the cave but it was already open. I saw a trail and followed it. I thought maybe the person was hired too. He went to the ferry and not the other doors. I guess he wasn't.

I went to the place Teacher had shown me. I was ready for it and it wasn't as bad as before. It has some pretty parts. They're the tricky ones. If it wasn't so loud I would like it more. I went back to the quiet dark to rest.

I left the quiet dark and at first it didn't seem I had. It was quiet and sunrifter wasn't shining. Someone wanted a box openedand asked me. I hadn't met the person before but that didn't matter. We talked a while after. He wasn't sure what do do with what was inside. I tried to explain but I don't know if I did a very good job of it.

I looked at the market. Some of the prices were so very different from what I remember seeing when Skils Ganon gave me my first scrolls and showed me how to use the market. Some are the same. Some things are never on the market anymore. It's very confusing. It's not that I don't know why someone would sell a scroll for more than it could be worth. It's that I don't know why someone would spend money on a scroll when it is worse less.

When the crier said there was a problem I went and got rid of the demons. I went back to the quiet dark after that. It's time to sleep again.

She said her boots were too big. I said she should wear extra socks so they'd fit better. We agreed that it was good she had boots.

It's funny. Boots and shoes get talked about lots. The shoe is on the other foot. But whose foot and why would you put it on the wrong one anyway? Walking in another person's shoes. Wouldn't that be uncomfortable? What does the other person do for shoes? Wouldn't someone be angry about having their shoes gone? Waiting for the other shoe to fall. Why did the first one fall anyway? Did someone throw it instead?

I wonder why there are so many shoe and boot sayings. I remember when I came here I didn't have any to wear. I didn't mind but others did. I was given my first pair and gave some rat hats to pay it back and make it square.

It's a good place. There's no harvesting unless it is what some call farming. That's okay though. Sometimes people get boxes when they do that.

I hope her boots fit now and her feet don't slip too much in them. If she's going to go in the tunnels she needs to be surefooted.
